Jim Williams
Chair, Communications Committee

Jim Williams is a Project Management Strategic Consultant and is the newest addition to the MHFOA Board. He is chairing the Communications Team, with skills and experience as diverse as the many roles he’s held throughout his budding career. Jim’s earliest work included part-time children’s programming support. Subsequently, his first full time position was with a local nonprofit in Huntsville, Alabama working as Youth Director. After relocation to the D.C. Metro area, Jim began advancing his music performance career while adding government contracting and various consulting experience to his varied skill set. A master networker, Jim credits his music background and training to his knack for business strategy and forming professional connections in multiple arenas.

Jim’s specialized experience relating to Mary’s House mission at large includes senior activities and engagement, grief and bereavement support, social and emotional learning, education for older adults with an emphasis in technology, generalized communications and outreach, generalized HR and DEI policy, and business development strategy. He is excited to support the work of MHFOA as he works with volunteers and fellow board members to revamp, rebrand, and reiterate the conceptualized mission to the world as it relates to communication and marketing at large. If you have any questions or suggestions relating to this work, Jim can be reached at jwilliams@maryshousedc.org
